CVS · Creator Value Score

Answer

The Creator Value Score (CVS) is Sentia's per-creator score, fusing reach, engagement, brand affinity, and partnership cost into one geography-aware number. The Italy-aware variant adjusts for the Italian creator market's tighter follower-to-engagement ratio and lower CPM bands. CVS matters because raw follower-count creator lists confuse popularity with effectiveness; a 200k-follower creator with 8% engagement and prior brand affinity often outperforms a 2M-follower creator with no affinity.

What it is

CVS scores each creator on four sub-metrics: reach (followers and average post impressions), engagement (interactions per post), brand affinity (prior organic mentions of the brand or a competitor), and cost-efficiency (estimated EMV divided by estimated partnership cost). Geography aware: the same numerical inputs produce different scores depending on the creator's primary market.

Why it matters

Agency-curated creator lists optimise for follower count because that is the easiest number to defend. Sentia's CVS optimises for impact-per-euro-spent, which is what the marketing team actually cares about when the partnership budget is finite.

How Sentia uses it

CVS lives in app/lib/scoring/creatorScore.js and renders as a column on the CreatorDataTable on /monitors/[id]/competitors/creators. It also feeds the creator-shortlist engine, which pre-ranks candidates before they hit the analyst.
